Central Vietnam Floods: Death Toll Hits 43, Tens of Thousands of Homes Submerged
Relentless rains in central Vietnam have killed 43 people and caused over $120 million in economic losses. The disaster, exacerbated by prior Typhoons Kalmaegi and Bualoi, has submerged more than 67,700 homes in the coffee heartland of Dak Lak and tourist cities like Hoi An and Nha Trang, leaving hundreds of thousands without power and triggering massive military evacuations.
