UK and US Seal £150 Billion Tech Deal

London, Sept 18 — The United Kingdom and the United States have signed a landmark technology agreement worth £150 billion, aimed at strengthening cooperation in cutting-edge sectors.

The deal will see major American companies, including global leaders in artificial intelligence, cloud services, and semiconductor technology, invest heavily in the UK. Projects will focus on AI research, quantum computing, advanced data centres, and next-generation digital infrastructure.

British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer hailed the agreement as a “historic step” that would create thousands of jobs, boost economic growth, and position Britain as a global hub for technological innovation.

The United States also highlighted the partnership as a way to reinforce shared leadership in emerging technologies, ensuring both nations remain at the forefront of global innovation.
