New Epstein Files Reveal Emails Sent from Balmoral

Andrew faces

LONDON : The latest release of investigative documents regarding deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein has uncovered a series of emails that further entrench Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor in the center of the global scandal.

The ‘Invisible Man’ Emails A key document from August 2001 features a message sent by a user identified only as “A,” using the moniker “The Invisible Man.” Writing from “Balmoral Summer Camp,” the sender asks Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell: “Have you found me some new inappropriate friends?”

Maxwell, currently serving 20 years for sex trafficking, replied: “I have only been able to find appropriate friends.” While the identity of “A” is not explicitly confirmed, the emails contain biographical details—including references to a departure from the Royal Navy—that closely align with Andrew’s life.

Timing and Denials The “inappropriate friends” email was sent in August 2001, just five months after Virginia Giuffre alleges she was forced to have sex with the then-Prince at Maxwell’s London home. Andrew has consistently and vigorously denied all allegations of wrongdoing and rejected any claims of sexual misconduct.

The 2020 DOJ Compulsion Request The files also shed light on a formal April 2020 request from the US Department of Justice. The documents show that US authorities asked the UK government to assist in securing Andrew’s evidence. Crucially, the US requested that if he would not testify voluntarily, UK counterparts should “compel” him to provide information regarding financial payments or associations with women linked to Maxwell and Epstein.
