Darwin, 11 March :

More than 140 U.S. troops were reportedly killed or injured in Iran’s recent attacks on American military positions in the Middle East, according to a Reuters exclusive report.

The report says the casualties occurred during a series of Iranian missile and drone strikes targeting U.S. bases across the region amid escalating tensions between Iran, the United States and Israel.

According to sources familiar with the matter, the attacks caused significant damage to U.S. military infrastructure and resulted in a large number of casualties among American personnel stationed at different bases.

Military officials are still assessing the full extent of the damage and casualties. The attacks are part of Iran’s broader retaliatory campaign following earlier U.S. and Israeli strikes.

The escalation has raised serious concerns about the possibility of a wider regional conflict, as both sides continue to exchange threats and military actions across the Middle East.
