Darwin, 18 March: Iran’s military leadership has issued a strong warning following the killing of senior official Ali Larijani, pledging a firm and “decisive revenge” against those responsible.

In an official statement, Iran’s Army Chief, Amir Hatami, condemned the assassination and described it as a grave act that will not go unanswered.

He stressed that Iran would take strict action against those involved in the attack.
Hatami warned that the response would be carried out in a way that would deter future actions by adversaries, signaling a potentially serious escalation in regional tensions.

The killing has sparked widespread concern within Iran’s leadership, with officials emphasizing that accountability and retaliation remain a top priority.
