Darwin, 07 April : Major General Majid Khademi, the intelligence chief of Iran’s powerful force, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, has been killed in a joint attack by Israel and the United States.
The IRGC confirmed the information in a statement on Monday.
According to the statement published in Iranian media, Majid Khademi was killed this morning. Iran directly blamed Israel and the United States for the assassination.
However, the Israel Defense Forces has not yet made any official comment on the matter.
The IDF said it is looking into the issue.
Majid Khademi had replaced former IRGC intelligence chief Mohammad Kazemi, who was killed in an Israeli attack on June 15, 2025, during the Iran–Israel war.
In February this year, before the war began, Khademi had alleged that U.S. President Donald Trump was preparing the ground for a war against Iran.
