Darwin, 14 April: Amid recent U.S.-Israel military operations, Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad was active in the very heart of Iran’s capital, Tehran, according to its director, David Barnea. He made the remarks on Tuesday (April 14) at an event marking Holocaust Memorial Day, Israeli media outlet The Times of Israel reported.
The Israeli intelligence chief said Mossad’s mission will not end until Iran’s current governing system is replaced. According to him, only after this “hardline regime” is removed will the agency’s objectives be fulfilled.
Barnea stated, “We provided precise intelligence to the air force and struck missiles that posed a threat to Israel.”
However, he cautioned that the operation is not over yet. “Our mission is still ongoing. We did not think this would end once the war was over,” he added.
