Darwin, 10 July: Iran’s Health Ministry has said that at least 14 people have been killed and 78 others injured across five provinces following a new wave of US attacks on the country. Meanwhile, Iran’s military has claimed that it launched large-scale drone strikes on US military facilities in Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain in response to what it called American aggression.
In an official statement, Iran’s Health Ministry said that at least 14 people were killed and 78 others wounded in US air and missile strikes that began on Wednesday and targeted five provinces across the country.
Iran’s military said it carried out precision strikes on a US Patriot missile system in Kuwait, an early warning satellite antenna site in Qatar, and fuel storage tanks belonging to the US military in Bahrain. Tehran confirmed that a large number of different types of drones were used in the attacks.
In a statement, Iran’s Armed Forces issued a strong warning to the US administration, saying that the goals and ambitions of the “foolish US president” would not be allowed to succeed under any circumstances. The statement added that Iran would continue to defend the ideals of the Islamic Revolution until achieving what it described as final victory.
