Australia : Western Australia Police have confirmed that six teenagers have been charged following the alleged daylight assault of a 15-year-old student at an outer Perth high school yesterday.
The incident occurred on the grounds of Ellenbrook Secondary College in Ellenbrook at approximately 3pm AWST. Police allege a group of youths attacked the victim before fleeing the scene.
The victim suffered lacerations to his arm and head and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
In a swift response, police successfully located and arrested all six alleged offenders just an hour after the incident, shortly after 4pm yesterday.
The six teens charged are aged between 13 and 16, comprising:
Two aged 16
One aged 15
Two aged 14
One aged 13
Multiple Charges Laid
The teenagers are facing multiple serious offences, including assault and wounding. In a concerning detail, one of the accused teens was further charged with carrying a blade.
All six teens are expected to appear in the Perth Children’s Court at a later date. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the alleged attack.
