1,000 Israeli Forces Killed in Recent War: Iran

Darwin, September 01: Iran’s Armed Forces senior spokesman, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, has claimed that more than 1,000 Israeli military personnel were killed and several thousand others wounded in the recent war with Iran. He also claimed that more than 100 US troops were killed and several thousand wounded during the conflict.

Shekarchi made the remarks in an interview with Tasnim News Agency about the recent Iran-US-Israel conflict.

He said the US military was essentially a Hollywood- and propaganda-driven force created to plunder the resources of Muslim countries. According to Shekarchi, Iran’s greatest achievement was exposing the weaknesses of the military capabilities of the United States and Israel.

He said the conflict had allowed the world to witness the collapse of the morale of the two countries’ armed forces. He further claimed that many countries hosting US military bases had lost confidence in Washington.

Shekarchi said countries that rely on the United States for their security were now realizing that a country unable to protect itself would not be capable of protecting its allies either.

Regarding US casualties, Shekarchi said that, based on various evidence and indications, more than 100 US military personnel had been killed and several thousand wounded in the war against Iran.

Similarly, referring to Israel’s military losses, he claimed that more than 1,000 Israeli soldiers were killed and several thousand wounded during Israel’s military aggression against Iran with US support.

However, he did not provide detailed evidence to support these claims. He also accused the United States and Israel of concealing the actual number of military casualties.

As an example, Shekarchi claimed that information about US military deaths in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq was disclosed only years later.

Shekarchi also warned the United States over the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.

He said the US president, his supporters and allies are now regarded as symbols of evil and sin. Iran, he warned, would not accept any attempt to claim the Strait of Hormuz as US territory.

Shekarchi said the United States could only dream of considering the Strait of Hormuz part of its territory, but such a dream would never become reality. He also said Iran was determined to remove US forces from West Asia.

During the interview, Shekarchi threatened retaliation for the deaths of Iran’s slain Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, students killed at the Shajareh Tayyebeh School in Minab, people killed in the city of Lar, and all other innocent Iranians killed in the conflict.

He said the timing of the retaliation could vary, but it would certainly be carried out.
