According to “The Top Heavy Global GDP,” a research by “Visual Capitalist,” Bangladesh’s economy has risen to the 35th position.

Based on data from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), just two South Asian nations made the cut: Bangladesh and India.

Canadian web site “Visual Capitalist” broke the news on December 29 using data from the International Monetary Fund. The GDP of each country is mentioned below (GDP).

At US$460.8 billion in GDP, the research places Bangladesh as the 35th biggest economy in 2022. Before, Bangladesh ranked in at number 41.

The neighbouring nation of India has risen to the fifth spot in the global economy, the research says. There was a time when it ranked sixth.

India has surpassed the United Kingdom (UK) to become the world’s fifth largest economy by 2022, with a GDP of $3.46 trillion.

The United States comes in #1, followed by China, Japan, and finally Germany. Britain, France, Canada, Russia, and Italy round out the list of the world’s top 10 biggest economies.

The study claims that in the year 2022, two big events have taken place over the globe. To begin, there are now more than 8 billion people in the planet. Second, the total value of the global economy is now $101.56 trillion.
