Bollywood actor Aamir Khan recently tied the knot with Gauri Spratt in an intimate ceremony held at his residence in Mumbai’s Pali Hill. Since news of their wedding emerged, the couple’s unique wedding ring has become a major talking point among fans and social media users.
According to Indian entertainment outlet Pinkvilla, the ring Aamir presented to Gauri is not only expensive but also an exceptionally rare piece of craftsmanship. While diamond rings are the norm for celebrity weddings, Aamir opted for a natural cabochon-cut ruby sourced from Madagascar. The bespoke ring was created by luxury jewellery brand Queen.
A co-founder of the company revealed that sourcing the rare ruby alone took more than three months. Designing the ring, setting the gemstone, and completing the intricate finishing work required a total of 256 hours. Most remarkably, 131 highly skilled artisans contributed to the creation of this single piece.
The ring’s design also reflects a touch of royal elegance. The rare ruby is mounted in a crown-shaped gold setting, surrounded by intricate vintage-inspired detailing and natural diamonds, giving the ring a truly distinctive appearance.
Although the exact price of the ring has not been disclosed, its rare materials and the extraordinary craftsmanship involved have already made it one of Bollywood’s most talked-about wedding rings.
