Daughter of veteran actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha, Sonakshi made a series of smart investments in recent years. In 2020, she purchased a 4,600-square-foot luxury sea-facing apartment on the 16th floor of a high-rise in Mumbai’s Bandra for about ₹14 crore. She moved into the residence in 2023.

In addition, she bought another flat in the same building on the 11th floor as an investment, which she sold in 2024 for ₹22.5 crore, making a 61% profit on the property.
