Mouni Roy Harassed During a Live Performance

Mouni Roy

Entertainment desk, Australian News Time:

Bollywood actress Mouni Roy was publicly subjected to physical harassment while attending an event in Haryana, India. She alleged that the harassment came from elderly men in the audience. The actress expressed her anger and distress over the incident on social media.

Highlighting concerns about her personal safety and women’s dignity, Mouni Roy stated that even before stepping onto the stage, two elderly men tried to take photos while touching her waist inappropriately. Although she immediately protested and asked them to remove their hands, the situation did not improve. Later, during the performance, those men—who were seated in the front row—continued to make obscene comments and gestures directed at her.

Not only that, when Mouni asked them to behave themselves, they began throwing rose flowers onto the stage. The actress blamed the incident on poor event management, saying the situation was so uncomfortable that she wanted to leave the show midway, but she completed the performance out of professionalism.
