Darwin, November 4 — More than 80 mobile phones were reported stolen during a concert by popular Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias in Mumbai’s Bandra area on the night of October 31, police said. The stolen phones are estimated to be worth around 2.4 million rupees. The incident took place at the MMRDA Grounds in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC).
According to Indian media reports, the concert drew a crowd of over 25,000 people, including several Bollywood celebrities. While fans swayed to Enrique’s hit numbers, thieves reportedly took advantage of the packed crowd and made off with dozens of phones.

Enrique Iglesias performed for more than 90 minutes, wearing his signature black outfit and cap. Taking the stage to loud cheers, he greeted the crowd saying, “Namaskar, Mumbai! Hands up!” After the concert, he told fans, “I first came here in 2004, and it feels amazing to be back again.”
