Darwin, 06 January: South Indian superstar Allu Arjun and his wife Sneha Reddy recently faced an unexpected and uncomfortable situation while visiting a café in Hyderabad. The celebrity couple went out for coffee to spend some private time together, but the situation quickly spiraled out of control as excited fans gathered around them.
According to Indian media reports, despite the presence of security personnel, enthusiastic fans ignored restrictions and surrounded the couple in a bid to take selfies. The crowd grew so intense that the security team struggled to manage the situation.
Witnesses said that at one point, Sneha Reddy was subjected to harassment amid the pushing and jostling of the crowd.
Sensing the danger, Allu Arjun personally intervened, holding his wife’s hand and shielding her as he escorted her safely out of the café and into their car. He was also seen requesting fans to remain calm.
The actor, who has been busy shooting for the much-anticipated film Pushpa 2 for quite some time, had reportedly taken a short break to spend quality time with his wife. However, the public outing turned into a distressing experience.
This is not the first time Allu Arjun has encountered such a situation. Last year, during a film promotion event, a crowd surge reportedly led to a stampede-like incident, which later resulted in legal complications. In recent times, several other celebrities, including Nidhhi Agerwal and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, have also faced harassment and inappropriate behavior during public appearances.
The incident once again highlights concerns over crowd control and celebrity safety in public spaces.
