In the world of Instagram, celebrities often credit “water and sleep” for their flawless complexions. But on her new podcast Vain-ish, Bec Judd is taking a stand against “gatekeeping” by detailing the exact medical interventions behind her face.
Judd’s transformation wasn’t an overnight fix.
The mother-of-four described a grueling two-year process involving:
Lower Blepharoplasty: Removing the “eye bags” she was born with.
Fat Injections: Using her own tissue to smooth out hollow areas under the eyes.
Upper Blepharoplasty: Cutting away and tightening excess skin on the upper lids.
“It took two years and a s***load of money,” Judd admitted, emphasizing that these results aren’t easily accessible or without risk.
By sharing graphic photos of her bruised and swollen post-op face, Judd hopes to educate her followers on the reality of “tweakments.” She warned that while fillers are often seen as a minor procedure, they didn’t work for her anatomy, leading to the eventual need for surgery.
Judd concluded her revelation with a warning to those considering similar paths. “Remember, everyone’s journey is different and it’s very important to speak to a team of trusted and highly skilled professionals,” she said. “There are risks involved.”
Through her new platform, Judd and co-host Jess Roberts aim to create a space where women can discuss beauty and wellness “without shame,” replacing smoke and mirrors with honest, medical-backed facts.
