A horrific motorcycle accident has claimed the life of a 38-year-old Brisbane mother on the Gold Coast.

The victim, identified as Nadia Shevtsova, was killed after a collision involving three motorbike riders during an evening group ride.

Police and ambulance services were called to Ashmore Road just after 8 pm last night. Despite frantic attempts by paramedics and first responders to revive her, Ms. Shevtsova could not be saved.

Police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash. The focus is on determining how the three motorbikes collided, turning what was meant to be a group ride into a tragedy.

Shevtsova’s grieving husband Vitaliy Brokhof thanked riders and emergency services for helping his wife in an emotional message on social media.

Ms. Shevtsova’s grieving husband, Vitaliy Brokhof, took to social media to express his profound thanks to those who tried to help his wife in her final moments.

“I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who was there in her final moments – the emergency services, first responders, and the people who stopped to help,” Brokhof wrote.

The accident has cast a somber shadow over the local Brisbane and Gold Coast riding communities. Authorities are appealing to any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident on Ashmore Road to come forward.
