A horrific motorcycle accident on the Gold Coast has claimed the life of a 38-year-old Brisbane mother, plunging her family and community into grief.
The victim, identified as Nadia Shevtsova, was killed after a collision involving three motorbike riders during an evening group ride.
Police and ambulance services were called to Ashmore Road just after 8 pm last night. Despite frantic attempts by paramedics and first responders to revive her, Ms. Shevtsova could not be saved.
Police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash. The focus is on determining how the three motorbikes collided, turning what was meant to be a group ride into a tragedy.
